Yesterday, the 7th March 2023, I finally launched my debut novel; Playing House!

I’ve been dreaming about this moment for decades, and working hard on this title for years. The day rolled around and it was finally time to send my book baby out into the world. It went live on Kindle Unlimited and I excitedly shared the news on Instagram. And then … Instagram shut me down! Landed me in social media jail for no apparent reason. Sadly, this is the second time they’ve done this in the space of a week. Both times, they’ve admitted that I was jailed in error, they apologised and they reactivated my account. This is all good and well but the outcome of being jailed, even in error, is that you get shadow banned for the foreseeable future. So now I have my book baby out in the world and nobody knows about it. My hashtags don’t work, my posts are hidden and my little book sits lonely, waiting to be discovered!

Not really the ideal way to launch a book but I’m still excited that it’s out there! Maybe one day you’ll even get to see it ;)
